overview MLY1-100 series surge protector(hereinafter referred to as SPD) is suitable for IT,TT,TN-C,TN-S,TN-C-S,and other power supply systems of low-voltage AC power distribution systems,and is suitable for indirect lightning and direct lightning effects or other Protection against transient overvoltage surges. Class ll surge protector according to IEC61643-1:1998-02 standard. Class B surge protector SPD has common mode(MC) and differential mode(MD) protection methods. SPD complies with GB18802.1/IEC61643-1. working principle In the three-phase four-wire system,there are protectors between the three phase lines and one neutral line to the ground line(see Figure 1).Under normal circumstances,the protector is in a high-resistance state.When thereisa surge overvoltage in the power grid due to lightning strikes or other reasons,the protector will be turned on quickly in nanoseconds,and the surge overvoltage will be introduced into the ground, thus protecting the power grid.electrical equipment.When the surge voltage passes through the protector and disappears,the protector returns to ahigh-resistance state,thus not affecting the normal operation ofthe power grid. 7.MLY1-100 MLY1-100
